DESCRIPTION

At Amazon, the Registration & Compliance Operations (RCO) organization is responsible for making Amazon the safest and most trusted place on Earth by protecting the innocent and deterring the 'ill-intentioned'. Protecting the interests of the end users is our top priority, balancing being compliant and giving a great customer experience. Our team achieves this objective through a combination of automated and manual investigations of the seller transactions on our marketplace.


Key job responsibilities

1. Review legitimacy and accuracy of submitted documents by sellers and respond back on the case if needed
2. Evaluate personal and business information from Sellers and verifying the information with reliable internal and external sources
3. Demonstrate flexibility to work within different queues, with increased complexity.
4. Provide 1 pager write-ups upon request for internal escalations giving the summary of the seller account, chronology of events leading up to seller escalation, immediate resolution provided, gaps in SIV/BAP process and proposed systemic/process fixes.
5. Identify & track root causes for seller escalations and sellers reaching out to Seller Support queue regarding SIV queries
6. Work with management and GPOs to assess possible root cause fixation and where possible, lead a part of such projects
7. Provide support when required for overtime, deep dives, mentoring new batches, Kaizen, escalations and cross training
8. Ensure compliance with procedures and SLAs while achieving quality and performance metrics . Work on the Core queues and willing to switch between different functions.
10. Continuously monitor all queues for both new and resolved items identifying where any misses may have occurred.
11. Work on projects that design/improve tools or processes by testing and/or develops recommendations for management
12. Communicates effectively both in verbal and written form.
13. Execute key team priorities and assists teammates with execution
14. Support new hires in the team to help them meet require performance standards

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must be proficient in Mandarin Chinese and English (reading, listening and writing) with an ability to compose grammatically correct, concise and accurate written responses
2. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues correctly and clearly to stakeholders.
3. Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
4. Team player – capable of learning and sharing knowledge in a global team environment.
5. Ability to effectively manage time, and individually prioritize multiple tasks of competing priority.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Knowledge of or previous work experience in compliance/ fraud prevention/risk management environment
2. Experience in handling escalations
3. Strong organizational skills.
4. Passionate commitment to Amazon's emergence as the world's most customer-centric company.
5. Self-disciplined, diligent, proactive and detail oriented.
6. Positive, results oriented attitude.
7. Excellent problem solving skills.
